SIF Compliance Testing

We're looking for a few good applications...

The Schools Interoperability Framework Association makes test suites available for self-testing SIF-enabled applications and zone integration servers against defined product standards. SIF Association members are free to test their applications via this test harness at any time, as are non-members participating in the SIF Certification Program. In the SIF Certification Program, these test suites are used to generate compliance data for certification by the SIF Certification Authority. Test suites that may be used for certification testing are indicated with a SIF Certified logo.

Test Harness News

The test harness now supports member SIF Community logins as well as Association membership logins. This allows members performing simultaneous compliance testing of multiple products to have a number of open sessions per individual user as opposed to organization-wide, when for whatever reason testers do not want to or cannot use per-product CIDs for logins.
If you do not know which SSL protocols and cipher suites your client implementation attempts to negotiate, you may use the sslhello utility.
As there is no formal certification program for the Oklahoma SIS Profile, if you have completed your Oklahoma SIS Profile testing, send the URL of your completed test session to the SIF Test Suite Maintenance Authority, who will "certify" the session and notify the Oklahoma Department of Education. Extend the life of your test session as long as possible using the controls at the top-right of the test session page, so your session does not time out prior to review.
